If a problem occurs with this BASE XX product (the “product”) and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, BASE XX will, in its discretion, either fix or replace the product in accordance with the guarantee terms and conditions stated herein. The guarantee provided for herein applies only to the first purchaser or gift recipient of the product. The guarantee is not transferable. The duration of the guarantee is limited to 5 years from the date of purchase. Any defect must be reported within two months after it has been discovered. Afterwards, every right to repair or replacement is void.

This guarantee covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by accidents, neglect, misuse (such as transportation of unusual items),abrasion, water, normal wear and tear, improper operation or care, modifications, abuse or exposure to extreme temperatures. Excluded from the guarantee liability are the following cases: loss of or damage of a computer, loss of or damage to programs, records or data, or incidental damages, consequential damages, even if BASE XX has been informed of their possible occurrence. This guarantee is global.

If the guarantee applies, you will be notified as to whether the product will be repaired or replaced. Any such repair or replacement will be at BASE XX’s expense, including any costs required to return the repaired or replacement product to you. If the product is to be replaced and the product is no longer available, BASE XX will substitute a comparable BASE XX product.

This guarantee does not cover damages arising from everyday use and wear. Damage due to acts of violence such as earthquakes or floods are also excluded. BASE XX shall also not be liable for damages for expenses or consequential damages. The statutory warranty remains unaffected by the provisions of the guarantees.

In some states/countries, the exclusion or limitation of damages for incidental or consequential damages contract is not allowed, ie the above limitation or exclusion of liability applies in your case may not. BASE XX does not take any responsibility for third party products, i.e., BASE XX will not reimburse any damage to devices used together with BASE XX products BASE XX cannot take responsibility for third party (non BASE XX branded) products or services that are offered together with BASE XX branded goods. The applicable instructions for the use these products, the conditions of use, warranties or guaranties (if any) are set out at the sole discretion of manufacturer of the non-BASE XX-product.

To report a material or processing defect on your product please follow the below steps:

1. During the first two years after the purchase of your BASE XX product is covered by the vendor. Please contact the point of purchase in order to submit a warranty claim.
2. Additionally BASE XX offers an extended 5 years manufacturer warranty, covering year 3-5 after your purchase. Fill in the below form and upload a copy of your original sales receipt or invoice in order to claim the extended warranty.
3. BASE XX will then verify the defect and inform you about the next steps.
